Minnesota’s First Commuter Rail Service

As Minnesota’s first commuter rail service, Northstar trains operate along a 40-mile route between Big Lake and downtown Minneapolis. Stations are located in: 

• Anoka
• Big Lake
• Coon Rapids-Riverdale
• Downtown Minneapolis, adjacent to the Minnesota Twins’ ballpark - Target Field
• Elk River
• Fridley
• Ramsey

Northstar Commuter Rail is a great addition to communities along the Northstar Corridor, providing commuters and businesses a smart, convenient and safe transportation option.

Anoka Station

Anoka’s station is located at the corners of 4th Avenue and Johnson Street and 4th Avenue and Pierce Street - 2718 4th Avenue The Anoka Station has a three-level, 344 space, parking ramp and a pedestrian overpass. The station also has bicycle lockers. Ticket machines are available at the station and take cash, credit or debit.
