Anoka Seeks Election Judges 

The City of Anoka is in need of election judges for the three upcoming 2024 elections. Election judges are paid officials who staff the polling places and ensure that the rights of voters are protected on Election Day. Election judges must be at least 18 years old (unless serving as a student judge).

Election Dates:

• Tuesday, March 5, 2024 -  Presidential Nomination Primary Election 
• Tuesday, August 13, 2024 - Primary Election
• Tuesday, November 5, 2024 - General Election

Applications are due by Friday, January 19th or ASAP.  

Paid to Serve - Election judges are paid for training and working on the days of the Elections. Pay ranges are based on position held.   

2024 Election Judge Rates:

• Election Judges:  $12.50/per hour (typically 60-80 judges needed)
• Assistant Head Judges:  $13.00/per hour (typically 8 or more needed)
• Head Judges:  $14.00/per hour (typically 8 needed)
• Election Assistant $15.00/per hour (only 1 needed)
