The City of Anoka is proud to host many events and programs throughout the year that brings our community together.
Rockin' on the Rum concerts bring hundreds of our community into town on Wednesdays in June through September. The community gathers at Riverfront Memorial Park to listen and dance to the music. Along with concerts on Wednesdays, our Farmers Market on the Rum is held in the city hall parking lot adjacent to the concerts.
July 3rd Fireworks are an annual Anoka tradition that bring thousands into Anoka for a spectacular display. The fireworks are held near Castle Field and the Anoka High School.
Anoka Tree Lighting is holiday magic at its finest. The City of Anoka is proud to host a festive and enchanting tree lighting celebration annually on the first Saturday in December. If you have been to the tree lighting, you know how exciting it is to come together with thousands of your neighbors to share in the joy of the season!
Community Programs occur often within the city. Various smaller events and programs happen throughout the year from Anoka Winterfest to art programs with Rumriver Art Center.
To conitnue to make these beloved traditions truly special with entertainment, engaging activities, and unforgettable moments, Anoka invites sponsorships to help offset event costs. Your support ensures we can continue creating a core memories for all to enjoy! Thank you.
